Kendal Henry is a New York-based artist and curator who believes that art can be used as a tool for social engagement, civic pride and economic development. As a 2018 Kenan Arts Research Fellow, Kendal will be in Winston-Salem working with members of the community to create a piece of public art October 3-9.
Join the Kenan Institute for the Arts and our community partners on Thursday, October 4 for an evening of food, fellowship and conversation with Kendal, and learn about how you can be an active participant in this creative process. The program will start PROMPTLY at 6pm, and will be followed by a reception.
Seating is limited! A printed or electronic ticket will be required for entry.
